About

Valk Fisher is a writer whose work gravitates to body, culture and politics, often at points of intersection. She was born in Atlanta in 1985 and grew up in South America, the Caribbean and the United States. She was educated at Duke University, The University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and the University of Cambridge. Her professional career began in Paris, then London, and she now lives in Portugal, where she is a PhD student researching practical applications of creative writing in post-diagnoses and medical contexts.
